The Questions We Get All the Time (and the Straight Answers)
Why are these jugs so popular? Because they make hydration genuinely easier. The half-gallon and gallon sizes mean fewer refills. The wide mouth makes cleaning and adding ice simple. The handle and sleeve make them portable. And they look good enough that you actually want to carry them around.
My lid is stuck. What do I do? This is the most common question we get. It's usually a vacuum seal from overtightening or temperature changes. Try running the lid under warm (not hot) water for about 30 seconds. The slight expansion can loosen it up. A gentle tap around the lid with your palm can also help break the seal. And for the future — don't overtighten. Just snug is enough.
Are the bottles dishwasher safe? Yes. All Traveler bottles are top-rack dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash with warm, soapy water if you prefer. Just make sure to wash before first use.
Can I put carbonated drinks in them? Carbonated drinks, perishable liquids, and fermented liquids may build up pressure when sealed. Use caution with anything fizzy or perishable — and honestly, we'd recommend sticking to water, which is what these are designed for anyway.
Do they fit in a cup holder? The Traveler 40oz is specifically designed with a cupholder-friendly base. It fits most standard car cup holders. The larger jugs, obviously, do not.
What's the warranty situation? Limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. That covers things like faulty seals or lids that break under normal use. It doesn't cover drops, accidents, normal wear and tear, or odor issues. To submit a claim, reach out through our contact page with your order number, purchase email, and a clear photo of the issue.
Can I return something if I don't like it? Yes. You've got 30 days from delivery to return unused items in original condition with tags attached. Just reach out through our contact page first so we can approve the return.
How do I clean the sleeve? The neoprene sleeves can be hand washed with mild soap and cold water. Air dry them — don't throw them in the dryer.
Do you ship internationally? We ship within the US through our main site, and we have regional sites for other countries. If you're outside the US, check for your local site.
